INDIANAPOLIS — A man accused of repeatedly robbing the same bank on Indianapolis’ east side has been arrested, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
At approximately 10:08 a.m. on Monday, IMPD officers responded to a robbery report at a bank located in the 4300 block of East 10th Street. While en route, dispatchers informed officers that the suspect, identified as Dewayne Moss, had previously robbed the same bank on May 5 and June 6.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, officers were alerted to a second alarm at a nearby business. Moss was reportedly seen fleeing the area on foot. Following a brief pursuit, police successfully apprehended Moss.
Thanks to community tips and surveillance footage, authorities confirmed Moss’s connection to all three incidents at the same bank.
Moss was arrested on preliminary charges of robbery and attempted robbery. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will determine the final charges.
As of now, Moss’s booking photo is unavailable, and further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
