Scottsboro, AL — A routine traffic stop on June 5, 2025, near Cedar Hill Drive led to the arrest of Dewayne Harris on multiple drug charges.
Scottsboro police stopped Harris’s vehicle, where he was the sole occupant. During the stop, officers discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Harris was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was initially held at the Scottsboro Police Department before being transferred to the Jackson County Jail.
