DeLand, FL – Devin Perkins, whose car was struck by a wrong-way driver in a crash that claimed the lives of TikTok star Ali Spice, his best friend, and his girlfriend, was sentenced today at the Volusia County Courthouse.
Perkins, who was speeding at the time of the crash, received a sentence of 364 days in jail, with 162 days credited for time already served. Following his release, he will be placed on one year of community control (house arrest) and nine years of probation. His driver’s license will be revoked for 10 years, and he is ineligible for early probation termination.
Judge Dawn Nichols warned that any probation violation, including driving, could lead to the original minimum sentence of 30 years in prison.
The crash, which occurred when 55-year-old Thomas Petry drove the wrong way, also killed Kyle Jacob Moser, 25, and Ava Fellerman, 20. Petry was sentenced to 37 years in prison.
