Deshaun Oden, Robert Blowers Arrested in Millbrook Car Break-Ins

Police solve multiple vehicle burglaries within days

MILLBROOK, Ala. — Millbrook police have arrested two local teenagers in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins reported earlier this month in the Crossings Drive area.

On December 15, 2025, officers responded to the 100 block of Crossings Drive after receiving reports that multiple vehicles had been unlawfully entered. While responding officers were initially unable to locate suspects, detectives with the Millbrook Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit processed the scene and collected physical evidence.

Following the investigation, Deshaun J. Oden, 18, of Millbrook, was arrested on December 16, 2025. Oden faces four counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and two counts of fourth-degree theft of property. He was transported to the Elmore County Jail and booked on a $72,000 bond.

On December 18, 2025, investigators arrested Robert G. Blowers, 19, also of Millbrook, on identical charges. Blowers was likewise booked into the Elmore County Jail under a $72,000 bond.

Millbrook Police Chief Johnson praised investigators for their swift work, noting that the first suspect was identified and arrested within 24 hours, and the second suspect was taken into custody within 72 hours of the crimes being reported.

As the holiday season approaches, police urged residents to remain vigilant, secure their vehicles, and avoid leaving valuables inside. Authorities encouraged anyone who observes suspicious activity to report it immediately.
