Derrin Mabry Arrested for Murder, Assault in Columbus Shooting
20-year-old charged following fatal shooting and attempted robbery
COLUMBUS, Ga. — A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that resulted in one death and another person hospitalized.
On Wednesday, August 6, the Columbus Police Department’s Fugitive Unit and Special Operations apprehended 20-year-old Derrin Mabry on outstanding warrants charging him with murder, aggravated assault, and criminal attempted robbery.
Mabry appeared in Recorder’s Court Friday morning, and the case was subsequently bound over to Superior Court for further proceedings.
