The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has successfully recovered 305 stolen high-end mobile phones worth approximately Rs 3 crore as part of their operation Track Back, an official revealed on Wednesday.

Out of the 305 recovered phones, 216 have already been returned to their rightful owners after verification, according to a senior police officer.

The operation, aimed at curbing mobile theft and protecting citizens from digital fraud, has also led to the dismantling of international mobile smuggling rings. Several arrests have been made as part of the crackdown.

On January 10, police arrested Manish Yadav from Wazirabad, recovering 195 stolen phones valued at Rs 2 crore. Later, on January 30, two members of an international theft syndicate, Rahul and Waheed, were arrested near Indraprastha Park with 58 stolen phones.

On February 10, police made another significant arrest when Asif was nabbed with 52 stolen devices, including 40 iPhones.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities continuing to target mobile theft and smuggling networks.
