Delhi Police have arrested Satender Pratap Singh, 47, from Mehrauli, identified as the alleged mastermind behind a large stolen mobile phone racket. The arrest was made in Karol Bagh, where police seized 42 smartphones, resolving four theft cases in the city.

Singh, with a criminal record involving at least 10 offenses including theft, snatching, and robbery, was reportedly planning to smuggle the stolen phones to Nepal. A police raid on his shop uncovered a stockpile of stolen iPhones and Android devices.

Singh operated as a crucial link between local thieves and the international grey market, allegedly building his network while imprisoned in Tihar Jail. Investigations reveal that Singh has been involved in smuggling over 300 stolen phones to Nepal.

Police are continuing their probe to dismantle the entire racket.
