The Delhi Police have successfully arrested two individuals involved in drug peddling in the Narela area of North Delhi, seizing 348 grams of heroin valued at approximately Rs70 lakh.
The arrested suspects are Rasal Pathan, also known as Thandu (33), and Rahim Khan (27), both residents of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Rasal Pathan has a criminal record, with three prior cases related to narcotics and robbery.
Acting on credible intelligence, the police intercepted the suspects on March 27 in Narela. During the operation, the authorities confiscated the heroin and a scooter believed to have been used for drug distribution. Investigations are ongoing to trace the supply chain and identify other potential connections within the drug network.
