WILMINGTON, Del. — Delaware State Police arrested Kerryn Vinson, 35, and Taysha Bultran, 33, both from Wilmington, following an organized retail theft and vehicle pursuit on Monday evening.
At approximately 6 p.m. on October 13, 2025, troopers responded to a theft in progress at Dick’s House of Sport, located at 1000 Brandywine Parkway. Employees reported that three suspects had stolen about $2,500 worth of merchandise and fled in a Chevrolet Malibu with a Delaware temporary registration.
Troopers quickly spotted a matching vehicle heading south on Concord Pike near I-95. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled into Wilmington, committing multiple traffic violations in an effort to evade capture.
The vehicle was later located near E. 28th Street and Jessup Street, where the suspects were seen running on foot carrying stolen items. After a brief chase, Kerryn Vinson was arrested, followed shortly by Taysha Bultran. The driver, described as an unknown Black male, remains at large.
Both Vinson and Bultran were taken to Troop 1, charged, arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on their own recognizance.
The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Organized Retail Crime Unit continues to investigate the case and search for the remaining suspect.
