Authorities have uncovered a shocking murder case involving Deepshikha Sharma (48), whose body was found stuffed inside a red bag at Aura Chimera Society. The crime allegedly occurred at a flat rented out by the victim and has been traced back to her tenants.
According to ACP Nandgram Upasna Pandey, Deepshikha Sharma visited the rented flat around 11 pm to collect pending rent but failed to return home. Her prolonged absence raised suspicion among family members, domestic help, and neighbours, who later began searching for her.
The search ended in horror when her lifeless body was discovered concealed inside a bag within the apartment. Police revealed that the tenant couple, Ajay Gupta and Akriti Gupta, allegedly planned to dispose of the body but were caught by alert residents of the society.
A disturbing video of the incident, reportedly recorded by locals, has surfaced and is being widely circulated on social media. Police swiftly intervened, took both accused into custody, and initiated a detailed investigation to establish the sequence of events and motive behind the murder.
