In a significant breakthrough, Delhi Police have arrested three individuals — including a juvenile — for allegedly carrying out a series of late-night robberies targeting food delivery agents in South Delhi.
The accused, identified as Priyanshu (19), Gaurav (19), and a 17-year-old boy, were caught with a stolen mobile phone, Rs1,100 in cash, a knife, and a stolen motorcycle.
Their arrest came after an October 17 robbery involving a delivery agent named Shahnawaz, which prompted an extensive investigation. Led by DCP Ankit Chauhan, the police tracked the culprits by analyzing CCTV footage covering over 20 kilometers.
Further investigations revealed that the trio was involved in multiple armed robberies and vehicle thefts across several districts of Delhi. Their arrest has helped solve three robbery cases and one vehicle theft case, with probes underway to uncover additional crimes linked to the group.
