RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A New Jersey man has been arrested in connection with a recent string of vehicle break-ins throughout Radnor Township.
David Williams-Stewart, 33, of Beverly, New Jersey, faces 42 counts of crimes, including felony receiving stolen property, felony theft from a motor vehicle, felony theft by unlawful taking, and loitering and prowling at night, according to court records.
Radnor Police reported that the break-ins occurred between September 11 and September 13.
Williams-Stewart was apprehended by Bridgeport Borough Police and is now held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
Bridgeport Police also revealed that officers found several stolen items on him during the arrest, including a child’s iPad, multiple pairs of shoes, a large coin collection, around 10 credit cards, a Guess diaper bag, various brands of sunglasses, and cash.
In addition to the charges in Radnor, Lower Merion Township Police filed felony charges including burglary, forgery, identity theft, receiving stolen property, and attempted theft from a motor vehicle. These charges stem from a residential burglary in Bryn Mawr on September 13.
Authorities credit a social media tip from a local resident for helping to identify Williams-Stewart as the suspect.
“We are grateful for the public’s assistance in this investigation,” Radnor Police said.
