WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three more suspects in a multi-county theft investigation that began in early January.
David Lee McMullon III and two unnamed 17-year-old juveniles were taken into custody Wednesday, authorities said. Previously, three other suspects were arrested in late January after more than $25,000 worth of property was stolen from Washington, Holmes, and Bay counties. McMullon was linked to a burglary in the Sunny Hills community.
Sheriff’s deputies in Washington County, along with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Divisions, recovered some of the stolen property at a pawn shop in Bay County.
The two juveniles were identified as suspects in the theft of a 2017 Can-Am UTV reported stolen from Brickyard Road in November 2025 and have been transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
McMullon faces charges including grand theft of $750 or more, along with additional charges in Bay County. The juveniles were charged with grand theft of $10,000 or more, and one juvenile also faces a charge of dealing in stolen property.
