David Dixon II, Audrey Berber Arrested for Car Loan Fraud

Baton Rouge Pair Charged with Identity Theft and Bank Fraud

BATON ROUGE, La. — David Glenn Dixon II, 44, and Audrey Leah Berber, 37, were arrested for allegedly using the identity of an Assumption Parish resident to secure a fraudulent $19,000 car loan.

The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating after the resident noticed unauthorized activity on their credit report. Deputies linked Dixon and Berber to the identity theft and several related financial crimes through phone and financial records.

Both suspects were booked in the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office. Berber was later transferred to the Assumption Parish Detention Center, while Dixon remains in East Baton Rouge Parish custody.

They face charges including identity theft, bank fraud, forgery, and computer fraud.
