David Bellis Arrested for Cocaine Possession with Intent to Sell in Ontario County

70-year-old faces felony charge after police seize cocaine, cash at his home

CANANDAIGUA, NY — David Bellis, 70, previously arrested by Canandaigua Police, faces new felony charges after a continued investigation by Ontario County authorities.

On July 15, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division executed a search warrant at Bellis’s residence in the Town of Bristol. The search resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of cocaine and cash.

Bellis was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree with intent to sell. Following his arrest, he was taken to Ontario County Jail for arraignment and later released. He is scheduled to appear in Bristol Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The Canandaigua Police Department assisted in the ongoing investigation into Bellis’s alleged illegal activities.
