WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING CO. (WOLF) — A Williamsport man is behind bars, charged with the murder of 19-year-old Kevin Cagle, whose remains were found in garbage bags off an Interstate 80 overpass.
In October 2023, the body of Kevin Cagle was discovered in Liberty Township. Authorities determined that Cagle had been shot in the chest, and his death was ruled a homicide.
On Tuesday, 52-year-old Davere Andre McClain was arrested and charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and related offenses in connection to Cagle’s death. McClain was arraigned and is currently confined in the Lycoming County Prison after being denied bail.
A preliminary hearing for McClain is scheduled for April 17.
