FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Two women were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team for their alleged involvement in a series of retail thefts in the Greater Cincinnati area.
According to Fairfield Township Police, Danielle Custard and Latoya Carter were frequent retail theft suspects dating back to 2019. Both had multiple active felony and misdemeanor warrants across several jurisdictions, including Butler County, Warren County, Hamilton County, and Boone County, Kentucky.
At the time of their arrests on Friday, Custard had 24 active warrants, while Carter had eight. Authorities also reported that the women were wanted for recklessly fleeing from police in both Fairfield Township and Boone County.
The arrests were the result of a coordinated effort between the Fairfield Township Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
