On June 14, Thai cyber police successfully dismantled FAST24H, a major online gambling network operating out of Pattaya. The site had reportedly processed over 9 million baht per month through illegal betting activities.
The raid, ordered by Police Major General Trirong Phiewphan, took place at a high-end condominium in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri. The operation was conducted by a joint task force of cyber police and investigative officers, with support from Police Major General Kritchat Bumrungrattanayot.
Two individuals were arrested: Chanachai (22) and Siwakorn (24). The suspects were found with two computers, a router, seven bankbooks, nine debit cards, modified blank guns (.38 and .380 calibres), and 52 rounds of ammunition.
Investigators revealed that FAST24H had been in operation for four months, amassing over 6,800 users and facilitating illegal bets across Thailand. Chanachai was allegedly in charge of creating promotional content for the platform, while Siwakorn managed digital advertising. Both reportedly earned 20,000–40,000 baht per month for their roles.
Authorities have charged them with operating and promoting illegal online gambling and unauthorised possession of firearms and ammunition, as reported by KhaoSod.
In related news, a Thai military colonel is now under an arrest warrant for allegedly managing another illegal online gambling ring. Police have confiscated 10 million baht in assets, including luxury vehicles hidden in a military compound. Six people were detained during raids in Nakhon Pathom on May 13, led by Police Major General Pongpan Wongmaneethej.
These operations reflect the Thai government’s intensified crackdown on cybercrime and illegal gambling networks affecting national security and public trust.
