LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lee County woman has been accused of violating her probation following previous fraud convictions.
Crystal Clarkson, 41, was initially arrested for submitting fraudulent medical reimbursement claims. According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Clarkson filed 31 claims totaling approximately $71,000 for medical expenses she never incurred.
After her conviction, Clarkson served six months in prison and was placed on probation. Authorities now allege she violated the terms of her probation by failing to remain drug-free, reportedly testing positive for methamphetamine.
Clarkson, who is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, will be held without bond following her latest arrest.
