A Cromwell town worker has resigned after being arrested on charges of sexual assault. Salvatore Nesci, who has served as the town’s public health coordinator, was charged in November 2024 and placed on administrative leave.

Nesci turned himself in to authorities on October 31, 2024. Officials have confirmed that his resignation will be effective on March 7, 2025.
