CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. — A Craven County couple was arrested over the weekend after deputies say they found cocaine during a traffic stop.

According to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over 52-year-old Julius Ensley and 37-year-old Brittney Collins on Highway 55 at Dover Road on Saturday.

During the stop, investigators say they discovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Both Ensley and Collins were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The pair was taken to the Craven County Detention Center, where they each posted a $5,000 bond and were released.

Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
