Corinth Man Arrested for Drug Possession After Traffic Stop

Neal Dwayne Seals, 54, charged with controlled substance possession

PRENTISS COUNTY, MS – Neal Dwayne Seals, 54, of Corinth, was arrested on January 17, 2025, after deputies discovered evidence of drug possession during a routine traffic stop in Prentiss County.

Deputy Ethan Hester conducted the stop on Highway 45 near Gaston Road, with Deputy Jimmy Jarman assisting in the operation. While investigating, deputies found drugs in Seals’ vehicle, leading to his arrest on charges of possession of a controlled substance. The specific substance involved has not been disclosed.

Seals’ bond was set at $5,000 by Judge Ray Hall. The case will be presented to a Prentiss County Grand Jury by North Mississippi Narcotics Unit Agent Taylor Walker.

This arrest serves as another example of the active law enforcement efforts to combat drug-related offenses in the area. Authorities are continuing to pursue investigations into narcotics activity within the region.
