A Goldsboro man, Corey Barnett, 54, was arrested Thursday after police say they discovered large quantities of illegal drugs and a firearm inside his home.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, officers executed a search at a residence on Holly Road, where they reportedly found 2.6 pounds of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, materials used to manufacture illegal drugs, and a handgun.
Barnett faces multiple felony charges, including:
Maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances
Manufacturing Schedule II drugs
Trafficking opium
Trafficking methamphetamine
Possession of a firearm by a felon
He is currently being held without bond.
