Corbin Consic Charged in Halfmoon Diamond Ring Theft

Connecticut Man Accused of Stealing Ring Worth Over $1,000

HALFMOON, N.Y. — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 27-year-old Corbin Consic of Torrington, Connecticut, in connection with a larceny investigation stemming from a February 2, 2025, complaint on Overlook Pass.

Authorities allege that Consic stole a diamond ring valued at more than $1,000 from a residence where he had been staying. Following the investigation, he was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E felony under New York State law.

Consic was taken into custody on Tuesday and subsequently released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Halfmoon Town Court for further legal proceedings.

The investigation remains ongoing.
