Connor McGrath Denies Theft, Admits Robbery at Preston Crown Court

28-year-old faces sentencing after admitting to vehicle robbery

PRESTON, UK — Connor McGrath, 28, of Lydia Street, Accrington, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Friday, May 2, where he faced charges of robbery and theft.

McGrath denied the theft charge but admitted to the robbery charge, which was accepted by the prosecution. The robbery is said to have occurred in September 2023 in Lytham St Annes, where McGrath allegedly robbed a man of his vehicle.

Following the hearing, McGrath was remanded in custody and is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on July 15.
