EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A traffic stop in Gibson County led to the arrest of a 34-year-old man on multiple drug-related charges Wednesday night, according to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they initiated the stop at approximately 8:17 p.m. on State Road 57 near County Road 350 South after noticing an equipment violation on a vehicle.
The driver, identified as Colton Doerner, was questioned during the roadside investigation. Authorities say that during the stop, they found methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia, prompting Doerner’s arrest.
He was transported to the Gibson County Jail and faces the following charges:
Possession of Methamphetamines
Possession of Paraphernalia
Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (OWI)
