Coimbatore Cyber Police Arrest Belagavi Siblings

Thangaraju and Shanmugasundaram Nabbed in Rs38.62 Lakh Scam

The Coimbatore cybercrime police have arrested two siblings from Belagavi, Karnataka, for allegedly defrauding a city-based woman of Rs38.62 lakh through an online investment scam.

The accused, M. Thangaraju (47) and M. Shanmugasundaram (50), were apprehended following a complaint lodged by a 64-year-old woman from Coimbatore. Police investigations revealed that the duo had orchestrated the fraudulent scheme, targeting the victim via online investment channels.

Authorities are continuing to probe the case to uncover any further connections and potential victims.
