Clinton England, Luke Rinehart Charged in Red Oak Theft Case

One suspect also faces burglary, criminal mischief charges

RED OAK, Iowa — Two Red Oak men were arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with a theft investigation.

According to the Red Oak Police Department, officers apprehended Clinton Joe Hans England, 54, and Luke Daniel Rinehart, 44, around 1:30 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue.

Both men were charged with third-degree theft. In addition, England faces two more charges:

Third-degree burglary

Fifth-degree criminal mischief

The two suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail. England is being held on a $5,000 bond, while Rinehart’s bond was set at $2,000.

Authorities have not released further details about the incident, but the investigation is ongoing.
