Clifton Foreman, Blair Welch Arrested in Florida Drug Bust

Over 100 grams of meth seized during Walton County stop

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Two individuals were arrested early Wednesday following a narcotics investigation by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit that led to a major drug bust.

During a traffic stop at the intersection of Interstate and Highway 285 in Mossy Head, deputies pulled over a vehicle carrying Clifton Foreman, 59, and Blair Welch, 50. A search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 113 grams of methamphetamine and 8 grams of cocaine.

As a result, Foreman was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, while Welch faces multiple charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Walton County Jail and issued $50,000 bonds. According to authorities, both suspects remain incarcerated as of Thursday.

The Sheriff’s Office continues its crackdown on narcotics-related crimes in the region.
