In a significant bust, the CIA staff in Hisar has apprehended two individuals, Aman from Adampur and Rajesh from Khara Barwala, for their involvement in the theft of electric scooters. The pair were arrested in connection with a theft case that occurred on January 14.
CIA In-charge, Karan Singh, revealed that the arrests were made following a woman’s complaint about her scooter being stolen. Singh also noted that both accused have prior criminal records.
Aman, previously jailed for scooter theft, was granted bail on February 6. His criminal history includes two cases of two-wheeler theft at the Azad Nagar police station and one case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Based on the suspects’ interrogation, the police were able to recover several stolen scooters from various locations in Hisar, including Urban Estate, Civil Lines, City Police Station area, Agroha, Madhuban Park, and the Court Complex.
The arrested men were presented before a local court, which remanded them into judicial custody for further proceedings.
