WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) — Christopher Sallings, a 31-year-old man from Columbus, has been arrested by Clay County sheriff’s investigators in connection with a carport theft.
The theft occurred Monday afternoon at a residence on Highway 50, where multiple items were reportedly stolen from under a carport.
Thanks to surveillance footage from the victim’s security system, authorities were able to identify Sallings, leading to his arrest on Tuesday.
The stolen property was recovered, and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office has indicated that further arrests related to this incident are expected.
