The Roanoke County Police have identified and arrested a suspect in connection with a bank robbery in Roanoke County.
Authorities say 43-year-old Christopher Brian Havens, of Newport News, was taken into custody Wednesday evening in Marion by the United States Marshals Service. Investigators believe Havens is responsible for the robbery at Member One Credit Union on Electric Road earlier that afternoon.
Havens is currently being held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority while charges are pending.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
