Christine Caron Arrested for Attempted Robbery in Manchester

50-year-old woman charged after elderly man hospitalized with head injury

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Christine Caron, 50, was arrested on July 12 in connection with an attempted robbery that left an elderly man hospitalized with head injuries.

The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. on June 30 near 20 Market Street. Police reported that Caron attempted to rob the elderly man while he was walking in the area. During the encounter, the suspect pushed the victim, causing him to fall and hit his head.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At the time of her arrest, police found suspected heroin in Caron’s bag.

She has been charged with robbery, possession of a controlled drug, and falsifying physical evidence. Caron was scheduled for arraignment on Monday at Manchester District Court.
