Two individuals have been arrested in Yerington as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged theft and fraud involving an elderly victim.
According to Yerington Police, officers arrested 37-year-old Christine Ansari and 38-year-old Christopher Montano after executing a search warrant at a residence.
During the search, authorities reportedly recovered stolen property and credit cards believed to be connected to the case.
Ansari is being held on bail set at more than $192,000, while Montano’s bail has been set at $10,000.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to determine the full extent of the alleged fraud.
