FORSYTH, Ga. — Forsyth Police have arrested Christian Scott Blackmon, a Macon resident, in connection with a series of lottery ticket thefts at multiple gas stations earlier this month.

Investigators say Blackmon targeted four gas stations on July 12 and 13, including a Marathon and a Chevron on Tift College Drive, as well as locations on North Lee Street and Cabiness Avenue.

At each site, Blackmon allegedly played the Georgia Lottery’s Cash Pop game but left without paying, stealing nearly $1,000 worth of lottery tickets.

The arrest followed a joint investigation by Forsyth Police and the Georgia Lottery Commission. Blackmon now faces four counts of attempted theft by taking and four counts of lottery fraud.
