Socorro, TX — A 43-year-old fugitive, Christian Rodriguez, was arrested late Tuesday night in Socorro on multiple warrants, including charges of online solicitation of a minor and drug possession, according to local authorities.
The City of Socorro reported that officers received a tip around 9 p.m. that Rodriguez had been spotted near the 800 block of Elijio Drive. Officers located and arrested him by 10 p.m.
Rodriguez was wanted on several outstanding warrants, including:
Online solicitation of a minor
Online solicitation of a minor – sexual conduct
Tampering with or fabricating physical evidence (with intent to impair)
Possession of a controlled substance
Authorities say the solicitation charges stem from 2022, while the drug-related charges date back to 2021.
Following his arrest, Rodriguez was booked into the El Paso County Jail Downtown, where he is currently being held on a combined bond of $150,000.
