Chippada Kedareshwara Rao, Immadi Battini Gopi Arrested in Rs 38L Theft

Mangalagiri Police Recover Gold and Silver Ornaments

Mangalagiri, Telangana: Two individuals have been arrested in separate house burglary cases under the jurisdiction of Mangalagiri Police Station, with gold and silver ornaments valued at approximately Rs 38 lakh recovered, police said.

A complaint was lodged on February 20 regarding a burglary in Duggirala village. Miscreants reportedly broke locks and stole valuables. Following the investigation, police arrested Chippada Kedareshwara Rao (40). Authorities recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 16,32,000 from him. Rao has a long criminal history, with over 40 theft cases registered against him in various police stations.

In a second case, a complaint was received on February 19 about a house theft in Chintalapudi village. Investigation led to the arrest of Immadi Battini Gopi (38). Police seized gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh and silver ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh from him.

Both accused have been produced before court and remanded to judicial custody, confirmed Guntur District SP Vakul Jindal. Police investigations continue to identify any possible accomplices and trace additional stolen property.
