Chinese Man Arrested for Entering India Without Documents

Peng Minhui, 35, Detained Near Sonauli Border

A 35-year-old Chinese national, identified as Peng Minhui, was arrested on Tuesday for attempting to enter India illegally through the Sonauli India-Nepal border. The arrest took place near Danda Head, where Peng was intercepted by personnel from the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Authorities recovered a Chinese passport and Chinese currency from the man during the arrest. Peng Minhui has been detained for further investigation. The incident highlights ongoing concerns over border security along the India-Nepal border.
