Chilean Trio Probed for Wisconsin Burglary Ring

Brown County reopens cases after arrests in Waukesha

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. — Brown County investigators are reexamining recent burglaries following the arrest of three Chilean nationals in southern Wisconsin.

The suspects, jailed in Waukesha County, face burglary charges and multiple counts of possession of burglary tools, each held on $250,000 bonds with immigration holds. Authorities believe the men were part of a larger burglary ring targeting luxury homes across Wisconsin and Minnesota. The suspects allegedly traveled repeatedly from Florida to carry out the crimes.

Investigators tracked the trio through traffic cameras and electronic monitoring, linking their devices to crime scenes in southeastern Wisconsin. Phone records reportedly place the suspects near De Pere on December 5, coinciding with a reported attempted break-in on Limestone Trail in Ledgeview.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a burglary on Trinity Ridge Circle on November 15 and is now reviewing whether the trio could also be linked to Brown County crimes. Authorities noted that inter-agency information sharing helped prompt the review. Investigators will use this new data along with their ongoing work to determine if the suspects in Waukesha are responsible for additional burglaries in Brown County.
