Charlotte Furman Charged with Theft, Trespass in Lyons

Galen woman accused of stealing lottery ticket, loose change

LYONS, NY — Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Galen woman early Saturday morning for allegedly entering private property and stealing from a vehicle.

Charlotte A. Furman, 53, of Route 414, is accused of taking a lottery ticket and loose change from inside a car parked in Lyons. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on June 22, according to authorities.

Furman was charged with petit larceny and third-degree criminal trespass. She was processed by law enforcement and released on an appearance ticket.

She is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on July 15 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charges.
