LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Charles T. Tuttle was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Laurel County for driving under the influence in a stolen vehicle.

The arrest occurred around 4:16 a.m. on Barbourville Road, about six miles south of London, following a traffic stop by Laurel County deputies.

Authorities were initially called to a report that a man had forcibly entered a home and taken a vehicle. The victim told deputies that Tuttle had taken the car keys without her consent.

When located during the traffic stop, deputies reported a strong odor of alcohol coming from Tuttle.

Tuttle was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence—second offense—and theft by unlawful taking of an auto valued between $1,000 and $10,000.

He was booked into the Laurel County Correctional Center.
