Charles Crews, 37, of Madisonville, was arrested after allegedly stealing items from a local business and reselling them in Princeton, Kentucky.
According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began when a business reported that an employee had taken display tools and sold them to a pawn shop. Deputies later located the stolen items at the shop and returned them to the owner.
Authorities then obtained a warrant for Crews’ arrest. He was taken into custody on Saturday and booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
The case remains under investigation.
