Abdul Aziz Bah, 29, of no fixed address, was arrested twice within 24 hours and now faces over 45 charges involving burglary, mail theft, and property damage across Charles County.
On July 6, 2025, Charles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an active theft report on Marshalls Corner Road in Pomfret. Witnesses identified Bah as the suspect, who was found walking along the road pushing a purple bicycle and carrying a large trash bag. Officers recognized him from a prior theft arrest the day before.
Bah was found in possession of stolen sonar equipment, sports gear, electronics, tools, and 41 pieces of mail stolen from several local homes. The total estimated value of the stolen and damaged property was $467. Damage at the scene included items thrown around and a cup defaced with feces.
Charges filed against Bah on July 6 include first-degree burglary, theft between $100 and $1,500, 42 counts of theft under $100, and malicious destruction of property under $1,000. He was held without bond following a July 7 court appearance.
Bah’s July 6 arrest followed his July 5 arrest in Bryans Road, where he was charged for stealing juice from a store after being previously banned. During that arrest, Bah initially gave a false name to avoid prosecution. He was released on his own recognizance after that incident.
Authorities continue investigating, working to return recovered property to rightful owners.
