Chandigarh Police Arrest Three in Mani Majra Theft Cases

Stolen jewellery and household items recovered from culprits

The Chandigarh Police have arrested three individuals involved in a string of theft cases in the Mani Majra area, recovering stolen jewellery and household appliances from their possession.

The arrests follow multiple theft and burglary incidents reported in the locality over the past several days.

Police formed special investigation teams that analyzed CCTV footage, conducted raids at suspected hideouts, and deployed informers to track down the suspects.

The arrested have been identified as:

Shamsher Singh (32) – resident of Mari Wala Town, Mani Majra

Shankar Rawat (30) – resident of Pipli Wala Town, Mani Majra

Karan, alias Pepsi (23) – resident of Majri Chowk, Panchkula

Police confirmed that the recovered items include valuable jewellery and various household appliances. The investigation is ongoing to determine if the accused are linked to other thefts in the region.
