On September 17, the Chandigarh Police Operations Cell successfully apprehended two drug peddlers, Rajat (28) and Kulwant (30), both residents of Mundi Kharar, Mohali. Acting on a tip-off, officers set up a checkpoint near T-Point on Gawala Colony Road, Maloya, where they intercepted the suspects riding a dark grey Activa scooter (PB-27-H-4661). During the operation, police seized a significant quantity of narcotics, including 9.57 kilograms of ganja and 90.69 grams of heroin. The arrest marks a crucial step in the ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.
