CEN Police Arrest Dev Harsha Chandan Kumar in Udupi Fraud

Bihar duo held for Rs5.72 lakh online fraud in Udupi

The Cybercrime, Economics Offences, and Narcotics (CEN) wing of the Udupi district police has arrested two men from Bihar for allegedly cheating a local resident of Rs5.72 lakh in an online fraud. Police recovered mobile phones, laptops, and cash amounting to a total of Rs6.15 lakh from the accused.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Dev Harsha (20) and Chandan Kumar (29), both hailing from the Nalanda district of Bihar. During the operation, the police seized 10 mobile phones valued at Rs97,000, four laptops worth Rs68,000, and Rs4.5 lakh in cash, believed to be linked to the fraudulent activities.
