Cassi Wagoner Arrested for Multiple Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

A 35-year-old woman from Red Springs, Cassi Wagoner, has been charged with multiple offenses following a traffic stop for allegedly driving left of center in Carthage. According to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields, Wagoner was pulled over in the 100 block of McReynolds Street on Monday.

After establishing probable cause, detectives conducted a search of Wagoner’s vehicle, leading to the discovery of cocaine, methylphenidate, and drug paraphernalia. As a result, she was arrested on several charges, including:

  • Felony possession of cocaine
  • Possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (methylphenidate)
  • Simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (methylphenidate)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Driving left of center

Wagoner has been placed in the Moore County Detention Center without bond, under a 48-hour hold. She is scheduled to appear in court on September 11 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
