Carlos Owens Arrested After Getting Stuck in Chimney During Burglary

Bristol Man Rescued From Chimney at Rockwell Park After Trespassing

BRISTOL, Conn. — Carlos Owens, 35, was arrested on Sunday following an alleged burglary at Rockwell Park, according to local police reports.

Owens reportedly entered a building at the park without permission and became trapped inside a chimney. Police were called to the scene and had to rescue him, damaging the chimney in the process. Thankfully, Owens was not injured during the incident.

He faces multiple charges including third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, and first-degree criminal mischief.

Owens was released on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on July 7.
