MISSION, Texas — Authorities have identified and charged two additional suspects in connection with a brutal home invasion that left a woman and her 14-year-old son injured.
Carlos Gavia Anguiano, 33, and Alexander Escayola Molina, 41, both Mexican nationals, were arrested on Friday and formally charged Saturday. Each faces two counts of burglary of habitation with intent to commit a felony and one count of engaging in organized criminal activity, with bond set at $1.5 million each.
The suspects are accused of forcibly entering a home on May 30, where they restrained and physically assaulted a woman and her teenage son. The assailants stole $20,000 in cash and jewelry during the robbery.
Earlier in the week, a third suspect, Jonathan Alexander Rodriguez Gaona, 37, also a Mexican national, was arrested in connection to the same crime. His bond was set at $1.35 million.
All three suspects are reported to be in the United States illegally, according to authorities.
