Caregiver Michelle Labowski Arrested for Identity Theft

Accused of Stealing 94-Year-Old Patient’s Identity for $9K Fraud

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT – Michelle Labowski, an at-home caregiver, has been arrested for allegedly stealing the identity of her 94-year-old patient and using it to fraudulently open a Chase Amazon Prime Visa debit card.

According to Windsor Locks police, Labowski racked up over $9,000 in unauthorized charges over a three-month period before being caught. She turned herself in to authorities on November 11 and was charged with first-degree identity theft.

Labowski is scheduled to appear in court on November 20. The case remains under investigation as officials work to uncover further details about the fraud.
